About Our Team

Sharon Bucknor, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Owner, Founder, and Nurse Practitioner

Hello, I’m Sharon, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner based in West Palm Beach, Florida. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and ADHD, supporting teens and adults who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for meaningful change. Patients say that after working with me, they can handle all their roles in their lives better. They feel like they can finally get some sleep at night. They also say that they feel more motivated to get out of bed and go to school or work.

By trade, I am a nurse with advanced graduate training that allows me to assess, diagnose, and prescribe medication, while also integrating therapeutic approaches into care. I work collaboratively with a psychiatrist to ensure a comprehensive, well-rounded treatment experience that prioritizes your safety and success.

My approach is grounded in compassionate care and evidence-based interventions. I believe that healing begins with feeling truly heard, so I take time to understand your unique experiences, challenges, and goals. Together, we’ll develop a personalized plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and practical tools to help you navigate daily life with greater ease and confidence.

I am a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), reflecting my commitment to staying current in the field and advocating for accessible, high-quality mental health care. I am also endorsed by Psychology Today, a recognition of my dedication to providing trusted and professional support.

My goal is not only to help manage symptoms, but to empower you to build resilience, gain clarity, and move forward with a stronger sense of balance and well-being.
